Since the early 1980s, exploration companies have collaborated with Terrex Seismic to fulfil their future energy exploration needs across Australia.
We prioritise understanding our clients' exploration objectives and offer comprehensive services from planning and permitting to final data interpretation, leveraging both our internal capabilities and strategic partnerships that align with our values. Our clients consistently select us due to our demonstrated success in:
Whether your needs are greenfield exploration, reservoir development or brownfield rejuvenation, we can plan a solution. |
Delivering world-class seismic surveys is ingrained in Terrex's DNA. We proudly offer a comprehensive suite of acquisition tools tailored to optimise crew configurations for maximum effectiveness.
With over 40 vibrators and in excess of 40,000 channels of recording equipment readily available, and the flexibility to access additional capacity if required, our crew configurations are primed to deliver high productivity, high-density, and high-quality surveys. Our unwavering goal is to ensure the efficient delivery of top-tier data while prioritising environmental sustainability. Backed by operational expertise across all onshore terrains, shallow water, and transition zone areas, both domestically and internationally, Terrex is ready to address diverse challenges with precision and excellence. |
We meticulously design sophisticated and robust Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) systems and processes to ensure the acquisition and safeguarding of our clients' highly valuable seismic datasets while adhering to our contractual obligations and commitments.
Our measures encompass both pre-survey and ongoing checks:
Upon completion of the survey, we compile a comprehensive Final Operations Report that encompasses both client-specific and regulatory reporting requirements. This report serves to provide a summary of the program and preserve the day-to-day details of seismic project from start to finish for future reference. |
The final report is inclusive of line preparation and restoration operations, survey and positioning, seismic acquisition, and QA/QC processes undertaken as well as detailed HSE reporting. The report covers survey design and acquisition parameters, equipment and instrument specifications, key personnel positions, as well as discussing the project logistics, technical justifications behind survey designs and acquisition parameters chosen.
At Terrex Seismic we specialise in a fast turn-around, seismic data processing solutions that empower our clients to extract invaluable insights from complex geological data. We provide initial data processing that gives our clients reassurance in the quality of data we acquire as well as tailored solutions to various subsurface targets. |
Our experienced team of geophysicists partner with our clients to ensure the seismic data acquisition process is efficient, accurate and has minimal impact on the environment.
Our team work with our clients to process the data to maximise the benefits of the effective utilisation of the seismic data for any project. |
