Crew Induction & Training

As part of Terrex's rigorous induction process, we implement a schedule of tailored training for new inductees, which may include:
- 4WD Training
- EHS Level 1 (Environmental Health and Safety)
- Heat Stress Management
- First Aid Courses
- Traffic Management Courses
- Rail Site Work Protection Courses
- Worksite Inductions (Mine Sites, Cultural Heritage, Environmental, Safety)
Prospective employees who have successfully completed employment pre-screening and the company inductions are sent to crew where they will continue to recieve on-th-job training and mentoring.
On each of its crews, Terrex maintains an active HSE Supervisor who:
- Conducts new employee on-site inductions and driver assessments
- Issues and manages all crew personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Conducts daily toolbox safety meetings and weekly safety meetings
- Monitors and manages safety behaviour on site
Terrex conducts pre-employment medical examinations of all potential employees and implements frequent, rigorous and random alcohol and drug testing within its HSE policies.
